How Chord Forms are Recognized

Chord tracks can be displayed fullscreen as sheet music with lyrics. While you can enter any string as a chord, specific formatting is used to look up chord fingering diagrams. Transposing also depends on properly formatted chords.

Some common slash chords are recognized for example A/E, C7/G, and Em/B. Enter any sharps and flats using # and b. Always capitalize the letter(s) of a chord and use lower case for the form. Indicating major vs. minor using upper and lower case or ▵ and □ are not supported.
